Village Laundry Co. is a neighborhood wash, fold, and delivery service serving Solano and Contra Costa Counties. We started as a one-woman operation with a simple idea: laundry day shouldn't eat up your whole weekend. We're growing, and we're looking for the right person to grow with us.
What You'll Do
As a Folder, you'll pick up clean laundry from a local Vallejo location, fold it retail-neat, and bag it by family member or clothing type using our system, then drop it back off to the same location. No washing, no driving to customer homes, no guesswork, just quality folding on a schedule that works for you with room for growth.

Pay & Schedule
Independent Contractor role, $19/hr to start, paid weekly, with flexible scheduling around your availability (no guaranteed hours). We'll go over the specifics at your interview.
What We Provide
- Folding board, ribbon, scissors, and clear bags to get you started
- Hands-on training on our system, standards, and bagging process, three sessions at the laundromat before you're on your own
- A clear path to more hours, more pay, and eventually your own clients
What You'll Need (once folding from home)
- A clean folding space, no smoking, no pets in the folding area
- A clean folding table
- A small hand vacuum to vacuum-seal bags when packing orders
What We're Looking For
- You already fold retail-neat, like what you'd see on a store shelf, this isn't a skill we're teaching from scratch
- Reliable transportation to get to a Vallejo location for shifts
- Reliability and punctuality
- Comfortable with a hands-on interview (we'll ask you to fold something on the spot)
- Comfortable completing a background check
Folding skill is required. Training covers our system, standards, and bagging process, not how to fold.
